The United States is also the defending Women's World Cup champion so Chile will be a tough opponent. Both teams have talented players, but USA has the stronger overall team.

Christiane Endler, goalkeeper
In Tuesday's World Cup opener, Chile was dominated by the United States Women's National Team (USWNT) 2-0. Carli Lloyd scored twice, while Julie Ertz scored one. The USWNT now stands at 3-0-0 against Chile. On goal differential, the USWNT leads Group F and will face Sweden on Thursday. The USWNT is expected to win the match. They will also be looking to extend their winning streak.

Which players are to be started in the Women's Soccer USA against Chile match? The United States will try to extend their unbeaten run in group stage. But a win over Chile could be crucial to their Olympic hopes. The U.S. currently ranks fourth in the global rankings and has won 20 of its 38 matches. Disputes between FIFA & USWNT
While the conflict between U.S. soccer (and FIFA) has been simmering since a while, it is now reaching its peak. On International Women's Day, four months before the Women's World Cup, a lawsuit was filed on behalf of U.S. soccer players alleging gender discrimination. Players claim that they receive less pay than men and have not been given equal work conditions.
Players on the team with 200 caps or more
Becky Sauerbrunn already has 200 caps. This makes her the 12th player ever to do this in USWNT History. She will also be the fourth player to surpass this mark as a defender. This feat comes just months after the Dutch captain achieved this milestone. It will also surpass the achievement of General Manager Kate Markgraf. Two years later, she is the first person to have captained the U.S. national soccer team since her 100th birthday celebration game.

Endler denies Press
Christen Press teed up Lindsey Horan for the U.S. goal, but Endler came out of her goal and denied her tap-in. Press's strike would give Chile the lead. But Endler made a great save. Endler has an exceptional instinct and is accustomed to making spectacular saves. The highlight of the game was the save in the 68th minutes.
