There has been much debate about the title for UFC on ABC female champion flyweight. There are many talented women in this octagon and it appears that the winner will be determined in the fights to follow. So which women will make the cut in the octagon? Jessica Penne, Claudia Gadelha, Araya Sage Gomez, Michelle Waterson, and others? Continue reading to find out more. This article will give some information about these women as a whole, and also the potential enemies that could be coming up for them.
Claudia Gadelha
After back-to-back losses, Claudia Gadelha has now reached an agreement with Michelle Waterson to fight in a main event at UFC 233. It will take place in New York City, on June 10. Waterson's third fight in the UFC will be Waterson’s main event. Waterson will also be the UFC's first Black woman to host the main event. Waterson and Hill met in May at Invicta FC.
The ringside judges are divided on whether Hill is better than Waterson. Currently, Hill has a two-inch reach advantage and is considered the better striker. Waterson is more likely than Hill to stand and trade in her pocket. However, she hasn’t fought in five year. Hill may win, and she will probably fight to the death. Waterson's track record is however impressive. She has won nine out of 10 fights she's been in by submission. Waterson averages 1.68 takedowns per bout.

Jessica Penne
Fans of mixed martial arts are eagerly anticipating a rematch between Michelle Waterson, former UFC women’s champion and Jessica Penne. Penne called Waterson’s win over her last mois a "fluke", but the Canadian veteran said that she would be glad to fight her once again. Waterson says that Waterson's win over Penne was not a fluke. She wants to prove it.
Penne lost by TKO to Jessica Andrade in round two of an MMA fight earlier in the year. The following year, Penne fought Danielle Taylor in an MMA tournament. She lost to Taylor via TKO in the second round. Invicta FC strawweight champion Emily Ducote will be Penne's next opponent.
Araya Sage Gomez
Michelle Waterson's next fight is Araya Sage Gomez, if you haven't already heard. The two met at a Hooters in Albuquerque, New Mexico, when Gomez's parents drove up from El Paso for a Cowboys game. There, Gomez and his parents sat under a full-sized poster of Waterson in a Hooters uniform. Gomez said to his mother that his future wife was her after they saw her. They laughed as she took their orders, and looked on. Gomez had her parents be hesitant about approaching her. She never spoke to them.
Michelle Waterson
Michelle Waterson, an ex-ring girl who made headlines in "Bully Beatdown" on MTV/MTV2, has had some interesting career decisions. She was unsuccessfully qualified for the MTV reality contest "American Ninja Warrior." Waterson won a stunt competition in 2014 for Natalie Portman’s film "Thor". After a few months, she made the transition to MMA and competed for the Invicta FC Atomweight championship. In her first fight as a professional, Waterson submitted Tyra Parker with a rear-naked choke submission. 2008 saw her compete in MTV's reality show "Fight Mom" as well as fighting on the special "Champions vs. Stars” miniseries.

Waterson (36) has a record that is 18-9-0. Three of her victories were by knockout, while nine others came via submission. She has fought in 27 professional MMA bouts. Waterson beat Marina Rodriguez in the most recent fight. She is based in Albuquerque, New Mexico and trains at Jackson-Wink MMA.
