The Diamond Resorts TOC event is a kick-off to the LPGA Season. John Smoltz of the Baseball Hall of Fame has won the tournament. This event attracts regulars from celebrity golf. Last year, 10 major champions played. The tournament also features a Celebrity Division as well as a Schedule of Events.
Celebrity section of the tournament
53 celebrities will compete for a $500,000 prize in the Celebrity Division. Annika Srenstam, who is a four time major champion, John Smoltz from the Atlanta Braves, and Cole Swindell, a country singer/actor, are part of the field. Sorenstam received the Presidential Medal of Freedom during the week.
Annika Sorenstam, a famous Australian tennis player is also on the LPGA Tour. While she has been in several tournaments and partnered with her father in PNC Championship, she has never faced a current LPGA Tour player. She will be playing in Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions' Celebrity Division. Here, each celebrity will use their own ball and play in modified Stableford. They will then be paired with LPGA pros in a 72-hole stroke play event.
Ticket packages
LPGA diamond resorts have ticket packages which allow you to attend the game for a fraction of full price. The tournament is hosted annually in Florida by Diamond Resorts and Insurance Office of America. The tournament features the world's top women golfers and celebrities. This year's event is scheduled to take place from January 16 through January 19 at the Four Seasons Golf and Sports Club in Orlando.
LPGA tournaments are available in several ticket packages. Prices range from $30 to $60 for a single day or up to $60 for a four-day pass. For those looking to upgrade their experience, Diamond Resorts offers the Club 18 package. Schedule
The Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions will dominate the LPGA's rebuilding efforts. This tournament will be attended by 50 celebrities golfers. The past attendees include Alfonso Ribeiro (Toby Keith), Grant Hill and Ray Allen. Marcus Allen and Marcus Allen are also present.
The Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions is held each January and will feature LPGA champions and celebrities. Gaby Lopez, a Mexican native, will be playing in the 2020 tournament. John Smoltz is a Hall of Fame pitcher who won the celebrity category and will be defending his title in 2021.
