During this time, she learned about the history of slavery in the U.S. and became a vocal advocate. Sera Cahoone (singer-songwriter from Seattle) was previously engaged in a relationship with US soccer star Carli.
The couple's relationship began in 2013, when Sera Cahoone was a member of the band Carissa's Weird. Later, Sera was a member of the band Carissa's weird. She went on to form Panda and Angel. Her first solo album was released in 2006. The Stranger reviewed her debut album, and she was soon signed to Sub Pop Records. Sera and Megan split in 2017, after which Sera continued to grow as a musician.
