The ShopRite LPGA Classic is a professional women's golf tournament on the LPGA Tour. It is held in Galloway New Jersey near Atlantic City. Brooke Henderson

Brooke Henderson was the winner of the Shoprite LPGA Classic's professional golfers field. The 25-year-old from Smiths Falls, Ont., shot a final round 64 to win the tournament. Her 64-hole bogey-free score helped her to the par-5 18th, where she missed a tap in birdie putt. Although it had been a tight tournament before, Henderson's final-round 64 was enough that she made a playoff to win her 11th career championship.

Julie Inkster

Julie Inkster won her first ShopRite LPGA Classic in 1986. This tournament, now in 26th year, has been a fixture on the LPGA Tour. Since then, only Anna Nordqvist has won back-to-back LPGA Tour events. Lee was the first LPGA Tour multiple winner and earned over $11,000,000 in career earnings. Lee is the first woman since In Gee Chun to win back-to-back major championships.

Julie Boutier

Boutier, who finished ninth at the ShopRite LPGA Classic was able to jump into the race for the Meijer LPGA Classic's top spot. Boutier managed a six-under 205 in Chevron Championships. She broke her string of three consecutive 30s. Boutier tied for 34th in the US Women's Open, with a score average of 72.5. But she was unable make it to the KPMG Women's PGA Championship. She earned $98,215 for third place. Her metrics for the next five year are impressive, however.


Mel Reid

Mel Reid is now the Shoprite LPGA Classic winner after losing a two shot lead at Portland Classic. Six-time LPGA Tour winner Mel Reid praised Ryan Desveaux, her caddy, for her comeback in the final round. The victory will be Reid's first major title since she debuted on the LPGA Tour. She is a top seed in the KPMG Women's PGA Championship, the fourth major of the season.

Albane Valenzuela

Having logged three consecutive rounds in the 60s and 70s to reach the final round of the ShopRite LPGA Classic, Albane Valenzuela is well on her way to a breakthrough finish. Valenzuela, a New Yorker, currently ranks 57th at the Race to CME Globe. Valenzuela has already made five cuts in this season. Despite her inconsistent play she is enjoying Canada and has a chance of making up some ground this weekend.

Lydia Ko

Lydia Ko, who finished in the top 25 at US Open and earned over $600k has returned to contention at ShopRite LPGA Classic. She is six shots behind leaders after her first round of 72, but she's still alive with a two under 65. The Seaview Hotel, Golf Club and Long Branch, New Jersey will host this week's tournament.
