Jessica McDonald, Courage's player, scored two goals against Portland Thorns. Lynn Williams dribbled the ball high into a box, and Debinha one-touched the ball inside to McDonald's. Trinity Rodman wins Thorns
Trinity Rodman, who has scored three goals in each of the Thorns' matches, is now a major point of attack for the team. For years, she has been an integral part the U.S. national teams system and helped her country win CONCACAF's under-20 championship in March. Rodman was the star of the night, creating three opportunities. She was an integral part of the team's playmaking and found space between the backline to take one-on-one plays. She had nine tackles, an interception and nine recoveries on the defense.
Wave FC's Kailen Sharidan saves seven career penalties
Kailen Herridan, Wave FC goalkeeper saves seven penalty shots. In her last appearance against San Diego, Sheridan stopped three shots and saved two more. The Wave lost 2-1 to the Kansas City Current on Sunday. Amirah Ali scored Wave’s first goal at the 88th minute. MakenzyDoniak assisted Ali. Kansas City scored a penalty kick by CeCeKizer in the 27th minute to take the lead.

Alyssa Moutz quits the league
Alyssa Mutz announced her resignation from the NWSL on Tuesday. She stated that it was now time to move on. The Chicago Red Stars player in the midfield had played for them since 2003. On Wednesday, she announced her resignation. The move is expected to create a void in the league, which has struggled with transfer activity in recent seasons. Alyssa Mautz finished her 10-year league career as the league's highest scorer with sixteen goals, eight assists and a total of 16 goals.
