The United States women’s national team (USWNT), has a strong roster of young talent. Megan Rapinoe (and Taryn) Torres (and Julie Moultrie), Jaedynshaw (and Megan Rapinoe) are just a few of the talented young players. These players are able to help the USWNT make it to the quarterfinals. But their potential and experience are far less than those of their teammates.
Taryn Torres
Torres' recent call up to the U.S. Women's National Team is a big step in the right direction for her career. The 18-year-old forward is a versatile player with an impressive shot and great work rate. She has already played in three league matches and four Challenge Cup. Gotham FC selected her 2021 draft pick. However, she chose to finish her college degree at the University of Virginia. During her college career she received four All-ACC honors. She was part of the U-20 soccer team that participated at the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Jene Baclawski, the former technical director of South Texas Youth Soccer Association, will be Torres' coach. Baclawski also heads the Visa SheBelieves Cup MVP selection committee.
Torres scored Torres's opening goal in the U.S. Women's National Team's victory against Nicaragua. The goal was crucial for the U.S. football program. She also scored the second goal for the U.S. women in the team's 2-0 win over Nicaragua.
Julie Moultrie
Olivia Moultrie has been added to the US Women's Youth National Team roster. In 2022 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup she will be competing in Costa Rica. Moultrie became last month the youngest player to record a goal in NWSL. In the 2022 season, Moultrie played eight games for Thorns FC and contributed two goals and two assists.

U-20 WYNT players proved to be valuable for U.S. teams, winning the last edition with a 44-1 goal differential. They didn't concede until the championship game, and Mia Fishel won the Golden Ball for best player of the tournament. The team included three international players. Talia DellaPeruta and Brianna Pinto each scored at least three goals.
Jaedyn Shaw
Jaedyn Shaw is a key player in the USWNT-20 squad. While at a French training camp, she scored two goals for the team in three matches. She is expected to make the U20 World Cup roster. She recently signed with the San Diego Wave, and will be joining teammates Alex Morgan and Abby Dahlkemper. Jill Ellis was her former coach in the USWNT. She will guide her.
Jaedynshaw, a forward, was named to the U-20 women's national team roster. The team includes Shaw of Washington Spirit, a youth soccer league player. Olivia Moultritrie, who is a professional defender, makes up the midfielder of this team.
Megan Rapinoe
Megan Rapinoe, a former USA soccer player who has won 96 caps, is now out of the United States Women’s National Team's squad after suffering an injury. The injury was sustained by the forward while she was training at U.S. Soccer National Training Center Carson in California. Rapinoe is now back home and will continue her rehabilitation. The USWNT will take on France on February 8, while England takes on England on February 13.
Rapinoe has been the face of USWNT, and has been integral to their recent success. Rapinoe grew up in Redding with her twin brother and sister. She has had big moments for the United States including in the World Cup 2013, where she scored the winning goal against Nigeria.
