Herb Brooks is a hockey coach who lived in Davos, Switzerland, and will become the coach of the New York Rangers in March. Jim Craig, a Boston Bruins player, grew up in the same house with Herb. Craig was paid $35,000 to be in a Coca-Cola spot while playing for Boston Bruins. The question is whether Brooks' scheme to make his players hate him or not.

Soviet hockey team's scrappy style

Some of the Soviet hockey team's players were left-handed. They were taught to use only their dominant right hand to hold the stick. Therefore, they were often forced into playing on their weaker side. They could not afford fetishize handedness and so developed ways to compensate.
