Sylvia Fowles is an honorary selection for WNBA All Star Game. She is currently finishing her final season with the league. Her averages are 14.9 points and 9.2 rebounds. She also has 1.2 steals and blocks. Her team is the Minnesota Lynx and are currently on the road to the playoffs, with a record of 8-15.
Fowles (a former LSU star) dunk during a second quarter breakaway opportunity. Fowles was successful in forcing Team Stewart's ball-handler to turn the ball over and stole the ball before he slammed it into his face. She finished the game with seven points and nine rebounds for Team Wilson.
Sue Bird
Sue Bird, a Chicago Bulls guard, has been named the co-captain of the WNBA All-Star team. Breanna Stewart and Sylvia Fowles will be joining her, which is their last WNBA season. The game will take places at Chicago's Wintrust Arena. The game will be broadcast on ABC.

Arike Ogunbowale has been selected to her first WNBA All-Star roster. She is a two-time NCAA winner. She was the league's highest scorer and currently ranks eighth for the Dallas Wings in points per games. She is expected to play an important role in Team USA's preparations at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Chicago will host the WNBA All-Star Game, which will take place July 9-10. The Saturday night event will feature special events by the WNBA, such as a skills competition or a three-point contest. Ogunbowale is hoping to be a part the next All-Star Game. Team USA won it in the past.
Kelsey Plum
In her debut WNBA All Star Game, Aces guard Kelsey Plum scored 30 points against Team Stewart. Despite being petite in stature Plum was named the WNBA All Star Game Champion. Her MVP trophy, however, was dwarfed by the NBA's Kobe Bryant's All-Star MVP trophy. Cathy Engelbert from the WNBA brought humor to proceedings and presented Plum with a trophy.
Plum stated that she wanted to win the MVP award. She made 12 field goals in the game and took 18 shots, which was an All-Star record. She averages 19.9 minutes per game. She is currently playing in the WNBA All Star Game and representing the United States at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics in 3x3 basketball.

Arike Ogunbowale receives the MVP award
Arike Ogunbowale won the MVP award in the WNBA all star game. The Dallas guard played college football at Notre Dame. She was the fifth overall selection in the WNBA Draft. Vanessa Bryant, her mother, was a big fan of the player. Her family voted her in, so this is an extra special award.
While the 2021 WNBA all-star game saw many changes, the game remains an all star event. Ogunbowale was the lone WNBA athlete to win MVP honors. Team USA won the matchup by 93 - 85. Ogunbowale will also be able to repeat the feat in the next two years as she was selected as a reserve player for the 2022 WNBA ALL-STAR Game. The game is set to be held in Chicago and will be televised on ABC.
