Miesha vs Rona Rousey is one of most anticipated bouts. Strikeforce booked the fight between the two mixed-martial artists. Tate, a former champion of the UFC and rising star in mixed martial arts, is booked by Strikeforce and the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Many fans eagerly awaited the rematch after the match was announced a few weeks ago.
Rousey defeated Tate for the Strikeforce bantamweight crown in March 2012. Tate tried again to win the title, but Rousey won through submission. Tate drops to 13-5, Rousey now stands at 8-0.
Miesha's return to form
Miesha is up for another chance at Ronda. She recently choked Holly Holm during UFC 196. Rousey is a former UFC champion who recently gave birth to her first child with husband Travis Browne. They were once rivals in Strikeforce or TUF.
Miesha Tate hopes to win her first Flyweight title after her fight against Rousey. The fight will air on ESPN+ live at 3 p.m. ET on Saturday. She'll probably go to Katy Perry’s "Roar."

Ronda Rousey's downfall is a common sight for fans of mixed martial arts. This former UFC champion is facing crossfire on the Internet and has had her career derailed by too many outside interests. Her descent from grace has been as swift and furious, in fact, as her rise. Rousey, who is one of the best fighters in the world, has become a target for skeptics. While Rousey is generally blamed for her decline in grace, she has been openly honest about her losses.
Rousey is yet to publicly announce her retirement. However, she has already changed her public persona. Amanda Nunes has even fought under her new name. At UFC 207 she issued a generic statement, thanking supporters for their support and stating that she would be considering retiring from mixed martial arts. Rousey still hasn't announced her retirement but many worry that she won’t return to mixed martial arts in the near term.

Miesha Tate decided to be blunt when promoting her fight for the second title against Ronda Rousey. She was a bit mean and gave her all to the challenger. This was more than just selling the fight, it was also marking territory.
