There are many examples of amazing athlete-couples that are making headlines. Amanda Nunes (and Nina Ansaroff), Julie Ertz (and Zach Ertz), Bird and Rapinoe or Granato-Ferraro are just a few examples. Retired athletes may have found love in the arms of one another.
Amanda Nunes and Nina Ansaroff
The two athletes have been in a relationship for over a decade, and their relationship is no secret. They met in 2012 while working together at a Florida gym. The couple got engaged in August 2012 after they began training together at a Florida fitness center. They are a well-known couple within the UFC. They have supported each other hard. Nunes credits Ansaroff with her success and says she couldn’t have done it alone.
Nina Ansaroff (UFC fighter) competes at strawweight. She was born in Weston, Florida, and started training as a mixed martial artist in 2009. She has a record of 16 victories and six losses. She is well-known for her comebacks and is currently ranked 13th in women's poundforpound rankings.
Julie Ertz and Zach Ertz
Both Zach Ertz, and his wife Julie, are professional athletes. Zach is a tight end with the Philadelphia Eagles. Julie plays soccer for Chicago Red Stars. Both are currently vying with the U.S. National Team Women's Team. They met at Bay Area universities.
Zach Ertz, Julie Ertz were married last year. Their daughter was born just one week after their marriage. The couple met while playing baseball at Stanford, and the couple married last March. Fans have celebrated their marriage and it has been covered in the media.
Bird and Rapinoe
Sue Bird, Megan Rapinoe and Megan Rapinoe are a couple of athletes. Both are based together in Seattle. They frequently discuss various topics, including women’s sports in America. Rapinoe posted photos of Bird to her Instagram Story along with a link that took viewers to a video of her cheering on. Rapinoe shared an image of Bird on her Seattle Storm profile. Bird and Rapinoe met at the Olympic Games leading up to the Rio Olympics 2016. Olympic athletes are often asked to pose in patriotic hot shots. Rapinoe and Bird were preparing for a photo shoot, when they met. Rapinoe asked Bird about a secret. Bird was stumped. Rapinoe claimed that Sue was not an easy reader, which was what inspired Bird.
Granato, Ferraro
Ray Ferraro is one of the greatest sports stars ever. Ferraro was a former NHL player and was a Stanley Cup champion twice. Granato is a retired professional ice hockey player. She won the 1998 Olympic women’s ice hockey gold Medal. Granato and Ferraro have two daughters and are married.
Granato served as the captain of U.S. women’s national ice hockey team in 1998 and was inducted in the Hockey Hall of Fame. Ferraro, who played in the National Hockey League for 18 years, scored 40 goals twice. Ferraro finished his career with 408 goals and 490 assists, as well as 898 points.
Graf and Agassi
Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi have been tennis's elite couple for many years. After they won the same Roland Garros tournament in 1999, the couple began dating. They began dating, then they got married in 2001. Jaden and Jaz are their two children. Graf's mother relocated to Las Vegas recently with the couple following Peter's death in 2013. Graf now uses the name Stefanie Graf.

Graf was playing in a tennis tournament when they met and the two of them practiced together. After the match, Graf and Agassi found out that they had many things in common, while they also had their differences.
