Mexicans have a rich and varied history in boxing. Mexico is home to some of the most talented fighters in boxing, including Julio Cesar Chavez (pictured above) and Oscar De La Hoya (pictured below). Others, such Saul "Canelo Alvarez and Julio Cesar Chavez, have won world titles and become icons. Although Mexico does not have the same kind of royalty in MMA as it does in boxing, it has produced some of the most talented fighters in the history of the sport.

Brandon Carrillo Moreno from Mexico is a professional mixed martial artist. He competes in Flyweight at the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He is an Interim UFC Flyweight Champion. He is known for being intense and fast-paced in his fighting style.
He is married Shirley Moreno. They have been together more than 10 years. She usually stands by his side during public appearances. The couple have three daughters, Maddie born in 2014, Megan born in 2019 and Morgan born in 2021. They shared pictures of their families on social media.
Cain Velasquez
Cain Velasquez, Mexican heavyweight Cain Velasquez found a new career in professional wrestlers after his successful UFC career. He has also wrestled in Mexico, and in the WWE. He signed with AAA Mexican in December 2018. He intends to wrestle more in 2018.
Velasquez has been charged with attempted murder and multiple gun assault. Velasquez has been held without bail. Velasquez and the victim were shot on Monday. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the shooting.
Nick Diaz
Nick Diaz, a Mexican fighter in MMA, is a champion and one the most charismatic UFC fighters. He last fought Rob Lawler at UFC 47. Lawler won the fight by KO in Round 2. Diaz has not been back in the ring since. He has started his own fight promotion company, Real Fight, Inc. He also co-founded a clothing brand and a jiujitsu training facility with his brother.
In this eagerly awaited fight, Diaz will finally make his long-awaited return in the Octagon. While this may be his last fight with WME it is uncertain what Diaz's future holds. Ferguson will be his opponent.
Alejandro Perez
Alejandro Perez is a Mexican mixed martial artist currently fighting in the bantamweight section of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He became known by his win in the reality television show "The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America". Perez was awarded the show and turned his attention to MMA.
Perez, 33 is a Mexican national. He was born September 2, 1989. Perez is 33 years old now and competes in bantamweight. He made his UFC debut in November 2014. He trains at American Kickboxing Academy.
Melissa Martinez
Melissa Martinez, a Mexican kickboxer of 25 years old, is Melissa Martinez. She has been competing professionally since 2016. She has a perfect track record and is considered one the best prospects in mixed martial arts. Her speciality is shock technique. She has also trained in kickboxing and Muay Thai.
Martinez won a Gold Medal at the 2021 World Association of Kickboxing Organs (WAKO), World Championships in Italy. She was also named best female fighter during the event. She also won the 2016 Pan American Kickboxing Championship, and the silver medal at the 2017 World Games. She is also a six-time national kickboxing champion. She has a promising MMA future and plans to continue competing kickboxing.
